Day 3 - More Drugs.

We had a good all locally produced, fried breakfast, and then had a picture taken with Rosie a friendly guard dog.

The views were good today, although as there were not so many hills, there are not so many pictures, we didn't need the rests.

Here is a rather blurry picture of train on the Dartmoor Railway line.

Yesterday afternoon my right knee started to hurt, and today it got bad enough that I needed to stop for some drugs to allow me to push at all with my right leg.
So I made Ray stop in this pretty little village.

At the top of the next hill the pain was starting to ease. Although starting off each time is slow.

We started to feel hungry going through this village, which was rather cruelly named Puddington.

We again only had some drizzle today, but we did have to go through this fun puddle.

It was getting late, 2:30 before we found somewhere for lunch. This looked like a good stop,

but the fresher stuff had already gone. Not the best, but we were hungry.

It was not too long after this, 15 miles or so, when we came to the M5.

We are now in a comparatively noisy Travelodge.

We had an excellent meal at the Golden Globe in Sampford Peverell, and are rather nice local Ale. The best part was the company, Peter and Lynn, who kept us entertained all evening.

The route that we mostly followed today was http://g.co/maps/gbqsv

Tomorrow is a slightly longer run at 60 miles, ending in Avonmouth.

Cheers
Paul
